Lazy Love: Wanting a Relationship Without Any Effort

Today, I want to share with you a topic that's close to many of our hearts: the struggle of wanting a relationship but not actually doing anything about it.

Ah, yes, the classic dilemma of wanting companionship but not wanting to put in any effort. It's like wanting to lose weight but not wanting to exercise or eat healthily. We've all been there, haven't we? Let's start with the obvious: dating apps. Swipe left, swipe right, match, message, repeat. It's like a never-ending cycle of disappointment and boredom. And let's be real, sometimes the idea of going on a date is more appealing than actually going on a date. So we swipe and we match and we message, but then when it comes time to actually meet up, we suddenly become very busy and forgetful.

And then there's the old-fashioned way of meeting people: going out and socializing. You know, actually leaving the house and interacting with other human beings. But let's face it, sometimes our couch and Netflix are just too tempting to resist. Plus, who has the energy to put on pants and go outside? But fear not my fellow lazy daters. There are other ways to manifest a relationship without actually doing anything. For example, you can write out a list of all the qualities you want in a partner and then just wait for them to magically appear. Or you can post vague, passive-aggressive memes on social media about how you're single and ready to mingle but no one is stepping up to the plate. And if all else fails, there's always the option of settling for your ex who you know is bad for you but at least they're familiar. After all, isn't the saying "better the devil you know than the devil you don't"?

So there you have it, folks. The art of wanting a relationship without actually doing anything. But let's be real, deep down we all know that true love takes effort and commitment. So maybe it's time to put down the remote, put on some pants, and take a chance on finding that special someone. Or, you know, just keep swiping and posting memes. Whatever works for you.
